Overview

The 2011-2012 Dallas Mavericks season was the 32nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Mavericks entered the season as the defending NBA champions. They finished the regular season with a record of 57-25, good for second place in the Southwest Division. The Mavericks advanced to the playoffs, where they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round.
